The renovation of Bangkok Bank’s executive floor presented one of the most demanding challenges in terms of scheduling and execution. Conducted within the headquarters’ nearly 24-hour operational cycle—extending even into weekends and holidays—the project required a meticulous balance between construction efficiency and organizational continuity.
The design vision sought to preserve the essence of traditional Thai aesthetics, which define the interior design character of the building, while reinterpreting them through a modern and contemporary design philosophy. The result is a timeless environment that reflects the Bank’s enduring legacy and its role in supporting Thailand’s people and businesses for over 80 years.
Materiality plays a central role in expressing this narrative. Teak, a cornerstone of traditional Thai architecture, is paired with Supergentti marble, a refined material of international recognition. Together, they symbolize both the Bank’s deep cultural roots and its global stature.
The design language is intentionally understated—gentle, respectful, and humble—yet exudes a quiet elegance. Warmth, confidence, and a welcoming atmosphere are articulated through carefully curated finishes, refined detailing, and a thoughtful spatial composition, creating an executive environment that is both dignified and inspiring.
